Training

We provide our specifications of quality through training and processing standards.

Equipment Support

We work with our women suppliers to enable them to begin the process of value addition with little logistical challenges. For instance, we support the processing of shea kernels into shea butter by providing processing materials such as stoves.

Community Development

Periodically, we visit the women groups to ascertain further needs that will motivate them to sustain their business. For instance, if there is a need to fund a borehole for water supply, we discuss with community leaders to determine the extent to which we can support this responsibility.

Waste Management

We continuously look for alternative ways to reuse waste generated from processing. For instance, we conscientize our women shea butter producers that the sludge (shea butter waste) can be reused as energy for shea butter processing.
